Test Accommodations

We provide appropriate arrangements to individuals who demonstrate a documented need in order to provide candidates with full access to the test. Test accommodations are individualized, so we consider them on a case-by-case basis in partnership with your testing program.

How To Apply For Test Accommodations

2

Obtain supporting documentation from your evaluator

Provide you evaluator with the Guidelines for Evaluators form for your selected disability. Your evaluator should make sure that the documentation he/she provides meets our guidelines as detailed in the form.

In most cases, your evaluator will be a psychologist or doctor who administered a series of psychological, educational or medical tests, and provided you with a copy of a diagnostic report or a detailed letter.

3

Submit an accommodations request with your testing application

When submitting your online application for testing, select “yes” when asked if you are requesting testing accommodations due to a documented disability. Once you select "yes", you will be presented with an accommodations request form.

Complete the accommodation request form and when prompted, upload documentation from your evaluator that complies with our Guidelines for Evaluators for your selected disability. You may also upload additional documentation (not required) including school records that show participation in special education services, Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and other records that show a history of academic difficulties due to your disability.

Please note that accommodations cannot be added to a previously scheduled exam.

4

Allow 10 business days for us to review your materials

One of our accommodations experts will review your request to verify your eligibility for the requested accommodations. If approved for accommodations, you will be provided instructions by email on how to schedule your accommodated exam.
